community feeling

I donated some of the first Florella paintings to the Calgary Rotary Flames House, a hospice for sick children. How great that my work - along with many wonderful pieces by various artists - will help the kids feel good while they're there!


Made these during my last two shifts working at the art-supply store. They are acrylic on 5x7" panels. Very small for me. I like them!


A new Kaleidescope:

The coppery colours go purple-ish when angled into light - interference violet oxide!

Some of the yellows are actually metallic gold which looks very nice but is hard to photograph.
