Another mandala - although I'm thinking of calling them kaleidescopes instead of mandalas.
This one has no white, which makes it different from the others:


And when I angle it into the light you can see the gold bits:

At first I didn't like the colour of this one, but now it's grown on me and has become my favourite!

I have spent this week making these things - 5 mandalas in all. Wonder where it will take me?

So I have been going off on this tangent, as you can see...


The top 3 are maybe finished, bottom 2 need some work, mainly detail patterns.
I have discovered that spray coating them when finished gives them a really nice surface - as opposed to brushing on medium or varnish, which seems to lay on very thickly compared to the spray.

And this one is my favourite so far:
